Smokin Jonny's "PIG OUT CHALLENGE" is Here!!!

THE "PIG OUT CHALLENGE" IS HERE!!!  MARK THE DATE: JULY 15, 2012 AT SMOKIN JONNY'S RESTAURANT IN GARDENA.  SIGN UP NOW For Smokin' Jonny's "PIG OUT CHALLENGE" to be held at Smokin' Jonnys BBQ at 14813 S. Western Ave., Gardena, CA 90249. To sign up please come in or call 310-324-3600 to sign up.  Entry fee is $65 and you'll have 45 minutes to chow down 7 pounds of delicious slow smoked bbq with all the trimmings. Finish every bite within 45 minutes and it's FREE!!!  If you think you got what it takes then sign up and see if you can be crowned Top Hog! If you don't finish every bite within 45 minutes you will forfeit your entry fee and join the gut busters on the "Wall of Shame".

It takes place next month and seats are limited so don't be left behind and join the list of Pig Out Challenge contenders. We will have The Pig Out Challenge on July 15th at Smokin Jonny's BBQ from 12noon to 5pm. Bring your appetite and your family. There will be music, entertainment and most importantly bbq.

Smokin' Jonny' BBQ for "The Mentalist" T.V. crew

We had the opportunity to provide our smoked bbq for "The Mentalist" film crew a week ago. Had a great time and the crew loved it! I think they had over 125 people and there was plenty of bbq. 

 Everyone really enjoyed our bbq. Especially the pulled pork sandwiches and sausage medley of Italian, Brats, Hot Links and Polish sausages. Thanks Joe for allowing us to cater "The Mentalist" film crew!

 Smokin Jonny's BBQ is open for business in Gardena, California! Serving Hickory smoked St. Louis ribs, Angus Beef Ribs, BBQ Chicken, Smoked Sausages and our Famous Texas Brisket that melts in your mouth.

Hello everyone! Well, the new years started out fantastic and we opened our new bbq restaurant in Gardena, CA. Yeah! We're so excited to offer great wood smoked Q in the South Bay to our loyal friends and customers. We are up and running for business and hope everyone drops by to taste the smoked bbq food. It's awesome! All my friends who tried our smoked bbq at festivals and the many catering event are welcome to come eat. We're open Tuesday thru Sunday from 11am to 8pm. Closed Mondays.

Wow! Southern Fried Turkey!

We have great news for our customers. Smokin Jonny has just added Southern Fried Turkey to it's menu. Yeppi! If you haven't had a deep fried turkey you are really missing out on one of the most tender flavorful meats with it's rich crispy skin. I promise you will love it and your guests will die for more. Our turkeys are first brined in fresh zesty herbs to add that great flavor before deep frying to perfection.

What do you get? A delicious moist juicy tender turkey that will be gone before the party begins. Guaranteed!  Great for parties, catering and takeout orders. If you would like to order our Southern Fried Turkeys just give us a call a couple days beforehand and we'll have your fresh deep fried turkey ready for pickup when you want it. The price is $6 per pound for the first 30 lbs.    (that's two 15 lb. turkeys) and then the cost goes down to $5 per pound over 30 lbs. Enough for a party of 50. Add some Hickory smoked ribs and you got a great meal everyone will love!

Toyota Xmas Luncheon

We had a great time at Toyota's Xmas Luncheon on Wednesday. We prepared 400 hickory smoked ribs and 200 applewood bbq'd chickens for 200 employee associates. Thanks to Micah, Kathy, Kathy's daughter and Ryan we were able to serve the mass line of hungry workers without flaw. The ribs kept coming and the chickens were flying while I kept the slaw and breadrolls coming. We had many compliments and nothing left over which was a clue that everyone loved it! Hope to get the chance to serve Toyota more bbq favorites in the future. Thanks Micah!

Festi Arte Festival in T.J.

We are providing great BBQ internationally. Smokin' Jonny's BBQ had the chance to bring authentic hickory smoked bbq to the festival goers that enjoyed Festi Arte International Art, Music and Food Festival in Playas de Tijuana, Mexico. The festival drew thousands of families that enjoyed great music, wonderful art and fantastic foods from around the world. We provided our smoked bbq meats that people loved.Western BBQ isn't well known in Mexico and we wanted to introduce a great smoked bbq to the general public. We were pleasantly surprised that a lot of people there knew what western bbq was and they were excited that we were serving smoked sweet hickory ribs, Angus beef ribs, slow smoked pulled pork and huge smoked sausages.  It was a blast and we received a lot of love from our friends in T.J.. Thanks for your support!  Also, we have to thank all of our friends that helped us make it a big success. We couldn't have done it without you guys and we appreciated it tremendously. Big hugs!
